Frequently asked questions
Pricing
Yes. The Free plan includes unlimited surveys and unlimited responses, conditional logic, basic analytics, and even end-to-end encryption — no time limit, no credit card required. We only charge for extras like removing our branding, custom domains, and team collaboration.
Privacy
No, not by default. Every survey has an Anonymous mode toggle, on by default, which hashes or drops IPs instead of storing them raw. You can turn it off per survey in Privacy settings if you need IP tracking. Respondents don't need an account to answer.
When you turn it on for a survey, responses are encrypted in the respondent's browser with RSA-OAEP + AES-GCM before they're sent — we never see the plaintext. It's an optional per-survey toggle, free on every plan.
Yes. We provide real self-service data export and deletion from your account settings, and our infrastructure is hosted in Germany.
Always — there's no account, cookie, or profile required to submit a response. You can optionally require sign-in per survey if you need to gate access.
Yes. Public endpoints like survey submission and file upload are rate-limited per IP address to stop abuse, and file uploads have per-file size and type limits. These limits are set well above normal usage — see /policies/fair-use for the exact numbers and prohibited uses.
Building surveys
No. You can build and preview a full survey at /create with nothing saved on our servers until you choose to publish — that's when we ask you to create a free account.
20 built-in templates covering common use cases like customer satisfaction, NPS, employee feedback, exit surveys, and event registration. You can customize any of them freely after cloning.
Not yet — CSV export is fully supported on every plan, and PDF export is available for non-encrypted surveys. A dedicated .xlsx export isn't implemented today.
Integrations
Webhooks and Slack are fully working today — Slack just needs an incoming webhook URL from your workspace, no app install required. Notion and Airtable are built but only become available once a deployment has registered developer credentials for them.
Account
Go to /account and use the data export or account deletion option. Both are self-service and take effect immediately — you don't need to file a support request.
